Happy Week 3 Birthday!

Today is my 3rd Week Birthday. It's exhausting out here in the real world, so I celebrate with a nap! Sorry I am not awake in most of these pictures, I promise week 4 will bring some awake pictures. I like to use my arm as a pillow. Auntie Steph and Uncle Ron came to visit me! That was nice, we had a cuddle session on the couch while watching the closing ceremonies from China. Everyone says I am going to be in the Olympics one day, haven't picked a sport yet.

Papa and I take a nap, I am happy when he comes home from work, I tell him about my day and then end up falling asleep since he's very snuggly.

Many faces of Nicholas!

Greetings, welcome back! Today I am telling a story about my life so far...short but sweet. This is when I am happy and hanging out!

This is my "Come on mom...put the camera away" face. I enjoy my bouncy for afternoon naps and evening snoozes. It plays real pretty songs and sometime there are safari sounds. Mommy says I have to like giraffes. They are her favorite. I don't really have a choice in the matter.

This is my "intense" look. I am not a fan of being strapped in, I like to live on the wild side. Mommy put on these cool new shoes, so my footsies are quite toasty!
Nap time...well mommy is trying to feed me but I prefer snoozing on the Boppy! It's quite cozy! Big Brother with his new bed in the nursery. He is taking a break from being guard dog. HNe takes alot of breaks :)

Our two Boys!

Well, there have been requests for Snoop pictures, let's not forget our oldest son! He is getting used to his baby brother and he is protective over Mommy and baby. He is tired from all the visitors and says it's hard being a watch dog all day long.
Here he is protecting us from harm during a feeding. He is not too sure about the ottoman, he doesn't like when it moves, he loses his little balance.
Nicholas enjoys to sleep on his Boppy! He takes mid feeding snoozes, this makes the feeding time very long!
You can tell that he is getting enough to eat, he is starting to have rolls on his thighs and a little pot belly. This is his serious look again, typically when I put him in his swing or car seat, then he adjusts.

Week 2 for Baby Bindra!

Welcome back to my blog! Today is my 2 week birthday. I got a check up and the doctor says I gained 1 pound and I grew 1 1/4 inch. Can you believe it !

Little, adorable feet. I couldn't resist ! I am a little shy, I just ate breakfast and I told mommy to put my onesie on before she took my picture!
I am wearing my Lil Cowboy outfit and I am working on my mean tough guy look. I did not give permission to strap me in this contraption.

Auntie Kelly comes to visit me! I like her very much and remember her voice from when I was in mommy's belly.

Lounge time with Nicholas!

Grandma and Grandpa like to come and visit me. We watch the Olympics together!
I like to take a snooze too! Mommy likes this because the pillow and my outfit are USC colors.
I enjoy the beach volleyball, it has captured my attention. My mommy says that I too can be in the Olympics when I get older.
Boy Time ! Papa and Uncle Tony are giving mommy a break! They are teaching me about motorcycles.

First week home

So I think Green is my color, Mommy says I look good in it and hey it matches my carseat!

So I am finally able to spread out and not be all tucked "fetal" position in mommy's belly!
After my first bath, Papa is drying me off! Mommy didn't know what she was doing, she used 4 wash clothes...she'll get better! I am a boy after all and once I can crawl around, I plan to get very dirty.

This is my drunk milk face! Mommy is making me burp before we continue.

The stork welcomed me home! Papa drove very slowly on the way home!
This is my Grammie, she has been so anxious to meet me! She would always talk to me when I was in mommy's belly.
My grandparents came all the way from Texas to meet me! They were so excited.

Nursery for Nicholas

Here are all the books I received so far in life. I can't wait to read them! The IPOD home is key for mommy since she spends most of her days and nights rocking and feeding me in this chair!
This is my crib, haven't tested it out yet, still in mommy and daddy's room in my bassinet!
This is where they use those cold wipees...I asked mommy to buy me a wipe warmer!
Even though I am a boy, I have good fashion sense, check out my shoes!

Our little Angel on his birthday!

After the long journey, I take my first nap to be followed by first bath!

Here I am after making my mommy labor for 24 hours. I am happy to be here!! It is very exciting to see all these new faces staring at me! I had grandparents, great grandma and lots of Aunties and Uncles awaiting my arrival! They were told to be quiet in the waiting room by nurses and security guards...What a rowdy bunch, I hope all my birthdays are this exciting!

Here I am back to mommy after being weighed and getting my first test, I got a 9 out of 10! That made my parents proud!

The most unexplainable joy I have ever felt! The moment we first saw our son was so overwhelming and incredible. Love at first sight! We love you, Nicholas!
